The Writing Process

As a teacher, teaching writing has always been a subject I have struggled with. I feel like I can never do it justice. My mini lessons aren't picture perfect, and my students are always all over the board. I never know where to start. I recently found an idea on Pinterest (of course) that I was able to adapt to fit my needs. My "Pinterest Pencil" has allowed me to loosen up control over where my students are in the writing process. It has allowed me to let students work at their own pace, while still knowing where all of my students are at all times. Now if only my "Pinterest Pencil" would teach my writing lessons too...
